Sachin, Dravid want India to play Champions Trophy

Extremely disapppinted by the response of these ex cricketers who have grown rich thanks to Indian cricket but now do not care about the losses to bcci.Obviously the don't need the petty pension of a few thousand rs. What do they care about the domestic crickets whose share will be cut.

 

Specially disappointed by that guy called Sachin Tendulkar...representing sports and cricket in the Rajya Sabha.

What the hell does he do there?

 

This was the one time he should have raised his voice and stood by the board which is fighting for its right against icc....but here again the guy disappoints.

 

All he cares about is to watch cricket or do his own thing...like he cared about his 100th 100......damn the rest.

 

He can use his position as a RS member to lobby for his land grabbing friend...but can't put in a word to help Indian Cricket.

 

A few words from him in public would have put the vinod rais and Guhas in their place....but instead he chooses this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Majority of Indian fans want India to play champions trophy.It would be childish to pull out for 100 million dollars.Which can be made up by playing 2 bilateral series.If you look at Icc proposal it aims to improve the share of all nations which is good for development.The problem is they are taking maximum from India's share while minimal for eng and Australia.It will take much diplomacy to again gain advantage at icc we can't withdraw from international cricket .

Cricinfo isn't an Indian exclusive website so moot really.

 

Anyway BCCI is the last place where they will bother with fans views whether positive or negative .They won't give a f about popular opinions either way.

Not majority, but allmost everyone, including BCCI want to be part of CT, They have already said to ICC to park negotiations , finish CT and then restart negotiations. Its ICC which have held CT hostage.

 

As far as keyboard warrior is concerned, i dint think BCCI is interested atleast, as of yet to bring this matter in media. Because if they want, they will tear apart Inexperienced CoA. And for CoA, they can go to SC or whereever, SC is so busy that by the time it will hear to CoA's application in CT, it will be Christmas

I was going to say that I hope India pull out, the CT gets cancelled and Yorkshire get the "ECB Five" (Root, Jonny B, Rasher, Plunkett and Willey) for the whole of June. Then I thought that the ECB would probably just organise a few more ODIs against SA instead to make up for it
