Impressive careers, great ambassadors and gentlemen of Game...

Test cricket role-models for upcoming young talents...

Hope they both continue serving Cricket in some new roles...

The scary thing is Pakistan n WI have stopped producing test class BATSMEN for last 20 years, n you get one odd player, but never a lineup of some batters with test class.

There was a time when Pakistan had Zaheer, n some decent batters then

Pakistan's middle order Test batting pillars in last decade: Inzi, Yousuf, Younis, Misbah... are all gone now...

an interesting little info I just noticed:
Inzi career's last Test vs SA at Lahore was the Only match in which all of these 4 played together...

Misbah and Younis are absolutely the two best cricket has to offer. They were both extremely good and were without any controversy. They remind me of Dravid. All upcoming young batsman should emulate these two as t was always about the game and not them.

Great guys.

Too Happy for them, Ending their career on High note; a historical win, smiles and satisfaction... Best Wishes to both of them for any of their coming-up off-the-field careers...

Both are class acts and they will be missed. They both made so hard to dislike them. They were so professional and so humble. Younis should have ended with far better stats.

@Asim I do not think there will another Misbah , this guy united whole team and honestly made Pakistan into a likable team.I felt happy for both of them yesterday.

As an Indian, my compliments to both Younis and Misbah.

As an Indian also, dudes, you were neither as good as half a dozen (or two dozen) Indian batsmen,  but that said what I admired about both of you for your dignity, class and grace.

We will miss you.

But let's not get carried away, neither of you are ATGs.

Doesn't matter- neither are ATGs.  In the first place.  Younis is a Pakistani ATG.

Misbah among the rare class acts that Pakistan cricket has produced - forget the arguments about where their stats and cricket achievements were for a second - but from how they conducted themselves, he's definitely in the same class as the Dravid/VVS/Tendulkars of cricket.  Professional, and went about their business with dignity and elicited respect from all opponents.   I wouldn't quite put Younis in the same category on this aspect - his numerous conflicts with the board, the insistent claims of being a team man, while pushing his personal goals, his cheapshots at Misbah, too many "non-classy" incidents to ignore.
