Yeah.  You expect things to get better by reducing the talent pool.  Do you know how many people play cricket in Trini?

No it isn't.  They still have the raw talent pool - its their board vs player war that is costing them.   I think in the next 3-4 years, it will settle down, and they can easily outdo the likes of SL/NZ/BD in terms of talent pool.   

 

Their real issue is finding test quality bowlers.  Financial incentives for cricketers are skewed in favor of players who can score big in T20s.  helps if you can turn your arm over a bit.  But batting is the real money-maker.  Windies need a few more Alzarri Josephs to really make it back as a team.  The other skill positions are easier to fill.

Wi board deserves more sympathy than players like Gayle ,bravo who refused to sign central contracts to play leagues around the world.Even their best test batsman Darren bravo choose to leave though he will regret the decision.They are going in right direction with young players who knows they might find some good talents.
