Fahim looks talent but pakistan is very poor at nurturing talent these days , whereas they way dravid n his team helped pandya on A-tour and the way dhoni, kohli and team management has backed Pandya he has improved a lot. 

M not sure what franchise fahim plays for and who are the people he shares dressing room with in PSL but pandya is also lucky in that way

Bro he is a beastly hitter who hit beastly sixes against the beastly Bangladesh team in a very important game - the almost unbeatable rival for the Pakistan team.   So what if as a warm-up game, it doesn't even count as a List A game, and the players were largely using it as a glorified net.  He won the game for them, by hitting monster 50 meter 6s against the unhittable bowlers of the great Bangladesh.  

 

Its an insult to him to even compare him to skinny weak Indian trundlers like Pandya.

Looked at his stats in domestic cricket looks like a bowler who can bat a bit. Batting of Ave 15 in list A and 10 in T20. In FC 32 which is decent.
