Good job shows both have way to go.Bhuvi is one of poor odi bowlers according to strike rate and AVG where as Yadav according to EC rate. But both have improved a lot and can play.

Thats exactly what i am trying to say but don't know why Buvi fans thinks that only way to big up Bhuvi is by disrespecting Yadav.

Kamran Akmal got a vote ?  There goes the credibility of this survey...

Did you read the article ? :giggle:

Quote

Completing our survey on behalf of their team-mates, captains were not allowed to vote for players from their own country and their top selection would be worth three points, their second selection two points and their third selection in a category one point.

Australia, Bangladesh, England, New Zealand, Pakistan and South Africa all took part but, despite repeated attempts to get their responses, India and Sri Lanka did not meet the deadline.

The verdict, however, was conclusive

Butler is sure on his way look at his average and s/r he already has the top 3-4 out of say 20 of the fastest 100s of all time .

De Kock is leagues ahead of Dhoni in terms of talent and upside both as keeper and batsman

Also Kock in leagues of choking with his team mates in important and KO matches :giggle:

He won't be considered great at the end of career just like ABDV if no trophies, Can he play a crucial knock as Gambhir in Semis/Final ?

Kid still got 10 year left :nice:

Unfortunately the ICC rankings are not decided by speedguns but based on performances   I'm actually surprised Bumrah doesn't appear on the list.

this is not ICC ranking. According to ICC ODI ranking, BK is at 23. Anyway, a list that rates Hazelwood at 8 has no credibility. Hazelwood is the 2nd best ODI bowler right now just behind Starc, IMO and then Kagiso Rabada.

Don't even get me started on this little whiny post of yours. Admittedly some posters go overboard but its equally true dhoni fans get their undies twisted on slightest possible thing said about dhoni even if its a fact. The other day I talked about how dhoni with his limited technique and abilities excelled due to him knowing his limitations and adjusting himself in best possible way and for best possible role for him. It was actually meant to be praise but @Ultimate_Game has to take offense on word 'limited' called for Dhoni. He had long debate with other posters also about the same. Some of them whining posts just like yours now.

Now here is it from Dhoni himself:

"All the fast bowlers are quite difficult, with the limited technique I had, it was very difficult to face the fast bowlers. Still, if I had to pick one, I would pick Shoaib Akhtar," said Dhoni.

Lastly forum would not be a proper place if there are no contrary opinions. If its just a fan gathering you can do it in any club. Not everyone worships your idol. If you don't like someone's view you can safely ignore and move forward. Unless a player has been abused with derogatory words(can report such posts) learn to live with contrary opinion.

Blah Blah Blah... Usual stuff from you, on the expected lines. Please stop sermonizing and start following your own words.

And yes please make this forum a better place and accept the contrary opinions, not everyone agrees with you. Don't make this place into a hater's ghetto where you and you ilk enjoy seeing every thread littered with hate comments which you sit and enjoy. Learn to accept contrary opinions about player you do not like. When someone says something good about an Indian player that you hate, you can also safely ignore and move forward.

Because you must have been sleeping when for years bhuvi was always put down to big up yadav. Yadav fans would jump in every thread criticizing bhuvi right from ball 1 of a match

Bhuvi n Yadav were both rightly criticized for various reasons, Bhuvi for bowling at 125 n being one dimensional n Yadav for being erratic, now both have showed good improvement n cannot be compared , both different kinda bowlers n roles.

If you change the parameters to consider only big teams, his average drops down to gutter levels, and that strike rate, even Ishant Sharma will have a blush. He was good in the initial stage of his career, but trundlers find it hard to stay longer once their novelty wears off. A fine example, James Faulkner.

He is alot better than Faulkner and deserves to be in the team. And he is not a trundler anymore, he has increased his pace. If we can field Shami( totaly fit), Bhuvi and Bumrah, this will be one of the best bowling attacks in the world. On these patta wickets we need one bowler like Bhuvi who can hold one end create pressure. Now only if he can improve on aspect of wicket taking ability which he certainly can, he will be amongst top 5 bowlers in the world.

Oh so thats the reason why Bhuvi fans gets their lungi's in a twist at the mere mention of the name 'Yadav' or sometimes without even mentioning Yadav.
