sandeep Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Feel a bit of sympathy for him. But he shouldn't be captain anymore. Team before self AB. Ultimate_Game, nevada, Vilander and 1 other 4
WC2011INDIA Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Whatever. This guy always apologizes after an exit either through some video or tweet or writes an article in SA newspaper. It is getting tiring and reeks of gaining sympathy. NOT A LEGEND. Shunya and Ultimate_Game 2
bleaf27 Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Don't understand why the apology . They lost to India not Ireland......Both the teams are competitive and very equivalent - there were no favorites.......... Don't see the Kiwi skipper apologizing after BD loss..... beetle 1
beetle Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 I don't understand the need for the apology. Cricketics 1
Shunya Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Unnecessary drama. This has become a routine for him it seems. How did such illogical tradition even start? beetle, speedheat and WC2011INDIA 3

putrevus Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 I think it is classy move.Players need to talk to fans after their failures . CG 1
Ultimate_Game Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 It's becoming a norm for ABDV. IMO he would be better served in letting DuPlessis captain SA and he should focus on his batting.

I agree Dhoni need not have to do it either, might be because in those days he use to suffer at the hands of some crazy pyschos who would burn effigies and throw stones at players homes n all. I am glad we are past those days, I hope.
gakgupta Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 how many times he does this..... Even after world cup exit, he did the same not required

Those who call RSA choker and stuff also know that ABD is a champion and south africa is a top side. ABD doesn't have to apologize every time his team loses. He is always trying to give his best and is always a threat to the opposition and always gives his all to make sure his country wins. Him apologizing to people after defeat shows he is thinking too much while captaining. A captain shouldn't be doing that everytime. Once in a while is all right to keep his fans happy. Top player and a legend who needs to change his attitude while captaining and how he reacts to defeats. beetle 1
Rasgulla Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 He can save rsa by stepping down and let fap du captain... he was brilliant
speedheat Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Lol, Its better if you step down as a captain mr.AB I think that will be real apology. nevada 1
