That was home series. Overseas ability is uncertain and thus question marks remains. Purple patch and lucky bowling could also be used to describe him. No.6 spot is another big concern for us.

Thats why batting down the order is not easy , you dont get enough chances since when its easy the top order plays out and scores all the soft runs . when you get to play its always some kind of pressure .

Hes an awesome player when there is no pressure , but he does not know how to win matches and if he cannot do it when hes in great form like hes these days I dont think he ever will . I have serious doubts he will survive too long .

I have followed Manish pandey for years playing for Karnataka , am a big fan . He has something extra what the likes of Jadhav lack . Hes clutch , but still a downgrade from the likes of Yuvi/Raina/Dhoni . Firstly hes inconsistent , he a bit like Dhawan that way plays well in big occasions , but will almost look disinterested in other matches and thats why I feel he will struggle to keep his place in the side . Secondly , he does not have the big shots to play anywhere lower than No4 at best . Thirdly , hes not exactly young so at best will be a stop gap option
