Wow 40 is definitely milestone birthday- good for him-but to quote Dhoni fans he doesn't care for

milestones so hope he retires next year at 41 years of age instead of playing till he is 50.

Agreed he is an inspiration but inspirations also have best use by date. He is done as a cricketer.

When he started out I was all for him to be included. That was strictly performance based. He lost all my support(as if that matters) when he satretd bowling in England test match. That was such pitiful effort by team India that I would have taken the call and removed him from captanc then.

I don't disagree with you there. He is probably done and will probably retire soon too. Yes, I do not want to see him struggle and hobble out of his international career but bow out like a winner (that he is). Hopefully, he will not tarnish his legacy due to his pulling his career too much.
