AB clobbering Aussies is fun fun fun

Its frightening to see the pace at which Steyn and Morkel has been replaced in South Africa. Even Maharaj is looking like one of the best spinners South africa has produced (too early to say but has potential).

 

South Africa just need 2-3 good solid batters. Markham has potential thats for sure. But not sure on the likes of Bruyn.

 

AB will retire probably soon from Test cricket (within a year). Faf should be around for another 2-3 years.

 

On the whole fair to say South africa are going to remain an extremely competitive side in test cricket.

Loved this result. Aus is the lease favorite team among SA/Eng/Aus/NZ for me. I order of preference of teams

What a freak Smith is. Playing 146 kph balls from Rabada like French cricket with his weird technique. 

 

I guess it is all hand eye co-ordination and will struggle when he becomes little slower. One hopes :) The Cricnews

All I read about this series from interviews of players is how they will chirp and banter. Bancroft, Elgar etc. We will say this and that to them! There seems to be more planning done on what to say to each other and how to insult rather than how to make runs or take wickets. All this sledging was supposed to be spontaneous and behind the game of cricket. It has taken centerstage and It is getting tiring , there is very little focus on actual cricket. They should stop this circus sideshow.

I feel Rabada may go overboard and bowl wayward on a high. Stilla young guy and needs to play it smart and get his focus.

I don’t understand SA team selection. Against India on difficult tracks they were playing 5 bowlers yet against Aussies on better tracks they are going with 4 .

They respect Indian batting and Australian bowling more that is why they have changed their team selections.
