We didnt have much options back then.We even kept an underperforming jaddu also for a long time.But this is now and we have a policy of trying folks in A teams and then getting them into main team.Pant has not passed that test yet.He will get his opportunity in England In few days and let us see how he performs.My guess would be he would hack it and fail like before.I dont see much future for him other than in T20 hackfest.
