Well that's true, then Ashwin to follow, what a atrocious lineup, collapses are always the corner

On Pandya, yet another test so far it is hard to fathom what is his strength, he was equally poor in both departments

But Virat has to keep him in the loop today and not totally depend on main bowlers in the side, otherwise his utility will again be questioned

His real strength is that he has half a dozen fans fooled here.

Pandya, overall, has contributed more than Dhawan (who also dropped catches), Rahul, Karthik, Rahane (it could change if he takes Ind home here), Ashwin, ....

Stick with him. He will come good.

No one is saying he should never be picked.

But he must prove himself first to be consistent in the domestics.

Then he can be picked up again.

Moeen was rubbish. A bit injured too. Got dropped. Did very well in county. Now winning a series for England.

Had England made excuses for him after Ashes, we would hav won this test by now. Lol.

Its a simple thing. Its horses for courses. There's no emotion involved when it comes to building a winning team. Pandya is a good player in his own right.

However, Test cricket is not his cup of tea, especially outside subcontinent. He is a limited player. Good enough for T20 and at the most ODI's. He needs to climb up the ladder through performances. He is rubbish at this point. He has eaten up one place consistently in 4 test matches and as a result, India has lost the series. Just because the others have not performed, does not mean that you throw away one position. It needed either a specialist batsman, or someone who could have performed.

The result is for everyone to see, I dont have to say again. The ignorant can keep on harping and shouting, facts will remain!

not defending Pandya by any means because no doubt he should have  done lot better especially with the bat. still feel Pandya is  not the  problem  in the larger scheme of things as of now because he still has performed with the ball  & played such a crucial part in the win in the 3rd test .It is not the case of 'all is well that ends well' . Rahul,Dhawan,Kartik & Vijay  are the ones who basically lost the

series.
