Do we deserve a 5 test series?

I mean this automatic 5 test series every time doesn't make sense. They have to re-evaluate from time to time. This is more and more looking like 0-5 loss for us. This will do irreparable damage in the long run Current line up is no match for England. You can mix and match. Result will be the same. Ishant sharma is playing his 3rd or 4th series in England. There is something wrong with that. We couldn't unearth half decent swing bowler since Zaheer left? How do you evaluate batsmanship? These days how well they hit sixes, fours. There is no emphasis on defensive technique. Even in T20 someone like Deepak chahar was able to split Rohit sharma open with swing and seam. Even if there is a slight help we just come a cropper. We have to make lot of changes to the way we select players as well. Before that we should not entertain these 5 test overseas series. 3 should be enough.

At best we deserve a 2 match test series the way we are playing overseas that’s the best we deserve right now.

Was exactly about to post the same thread. We don't deserve 5 test series because we are rank minnows in England. Pakistan and Lanka both deserve longer series than us, may be like Bangladesh we can play those 2 test series, tbh we deserve just the solitary test like Afghans got in Chinnaswamy in June.

It was going to be a long series after defeat at Edgbaston but a 2 day defeat for unforseen.This is yet another blot on the captaincy career of Kohli.

I want the panic button to be pressed and whole changes have to be effected.The upcoming 3 tests should be used very effectively,enough of TTFs

I guess so, it just feels like operation desert storm and we're supporting Saddam & Baghdad Bob for every battle/game :(

We should not play test, Period!! We are a minnow. Let’s just stick to T-Tonty and I-Pee-L. Tamasha cricket is where all the fun is. Test kirkut is boring and for old farts, and these desi poyzz are cool and hip!!

If Ind loses 3 tests in the first 3-4 tests, there is no point in continuing apart from academics

first playing 4+ tests against the likes of AUS,ENG  at  home  , beat them and then earn points .... When it is our turn, there is no point in whining.
