Bowlers deserve blame for Lord's but the main culprits were batsmen. They couldn't last 80 overs across 2 innings and you say we lost because of them. What about Edgbaston then? Can't they chase 190 in 4th innings? Are you forgetting the dropped catches especially by Dhawan that would have removed Curran at 107/7....still blame bowlers? England also dropped Kohli on twice occasions in the first Test match but they still were able to restrict us for low scores. Dropped catches are common but it shouldn't be used as an excuse to bowl filth. If they can't utilize these bowling conditions, may be they are just not good enough. R!TTER Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 I'm not sure why is everyone trying to pick a side, you apportion the blame. There is no 1 side responsible for the loss, all 3 aspects are responsible for it. beetle and RAZPOR 2

Doesn't change the fact that our batsmen bar Kohli are extremely mediocre. Bowlers way better as shown by @Trichromatic and @express bowling in this thread: express bowling 1

How are our bowlers way better than the opposition? They let some noob to smash them all around the park and the reason for that is, Dhawan dropped one catch? LOL

Brought in by the drunk guy who is called our chief coach . If he wanted to sit and drink ,atleast he could have got good assistant coaches. Bloody drunk got people who would just follows what they are told to do. Shastri is responsible. Kohli and Tendulkar responsible for getting us shastri. Pollack, SandeepMotta and Lannister 1 2
RAZPOR Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Incompetency at its best.....aur lo selfie s. , squandered another opportunity.

There is no relentlessness in Indian bowling attack. Just a sporadic outburst of good and bad bowling which won't show in stats.

LOL Nobody said our bowlers are way better then SENA teams in SENA countries, don't make stuff up. Our bowlers are closer to them in level over there compared to our batsmen. A team which gets 200+ scores twice in 10 attempts doesn't deserve any mercy.
vayuu1 Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 So on a bowling day England already has scored at 5 runs per over and look at the way shami was bowling some utter filth, I think these guys are taking their game for granted Sent from my Redmi 4A using Tapatalk
Pollack Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 When Cook plays at 70 SR in tests you know your bowling has been toothless so far. However I do believe they will come back strongly in a session or two and then again back to crap.

Shunya Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Indian bowling is good also because the opposition standards are poor nowadays. But still cant deny batsmen are at fault this year.
Shunya Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 This is do or die type session. We need 4-5 wickets this session or the game will be gone.
Pollack Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Bumrah again short of length. He is not going to trouble with that length when the pitch is slower.
Number Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 (edited) Bumrah not a test match bowler. Though Anyone could do well on those horrid SA pitches. Edited August 19, 2018 by Number Bumrah took a wicket
