We can rotate him with Umesh to rest him and keep him fresh for 5th match.

Even when he looked good his spells were not the game changing ones like Ishant in Edgebaston 2nd innings, Pandya and Bumrah here.

Shami is not indispensable in England,he is bang average in this country,should be replaced with yadav for the next match

he was mediocre in ENG .That's continuing in this series too. Bowlers are lot more effective in  some countries  than in some other countries. Seems for Shami ENG is not made for him.Think Jadeja will be a better option in the next 2 tests

Because he is a failure with the new ball everywhere .he just can't use the new ball

He is a spent force. He is much older than his stated age, bowls with very little control and does not gave the fitness last even this series I think. Easily the worst if our bowlers in this series and that includes Umesh.

Replace with Siraj for tests 4 and 5.  Good thing Kohli is not wedded to the idea of not changing a winning combination.

Yes, they selected the team only for tests 1 - 3 and will re-select for 4 and 5.
