It's not a new thing anyway. We already had Champions League in which Pakistani teams along with others from around the played.  Thank god they got rid of that over bloated, unnecessary, and most rigged league ever.  Same league where MI played 5 overseas players lol.

Champions league was just another way to transfer money from the Indian TV audience to other countries' domestic teams.  Don't need that concept back.  

 

My post above is a bit harsh, but the reality is that PSL simply is nowhere near the IPL in terms of the talent it can put on the field.  International and domestic.

The Prime Minister giving roly poly bear hugs to your "arch enemies" is a thousand times more symbolic.  Pm is the ultimate symbol of the country and here Modi giving Sharif  a bear hug is symbolic to hugging your arch rivals whose army is still killing your Indian Army regularly. Same is the case of giving sweets at the border crossing, the army confrontations don't stop.   Leaving aside Sidhu,  who is a nobody in the Indian political sphere but here you have the  Pm of India who has bashed Pakistan and yet goes on to give bear hugs to your counterpart.   Sidhu may speak in hyperboles but that's what he claimed regarding the hug i.e emotional gesture regarding opening up Kartarpur corridor for guru Nanak's b'day celebrations.  No one's claiming that giving hugs will change the standoff between India and Pakistan and neither will Modi hugging Pm of Pakistan will change that either.   So when Modi hugs the Pm of your enemy state, is that more important than your country's pride in Army who are killed throughout the year?  Poor soldiers are mere pawns and sitting ducks at the mercy of politicians. Indians have overblown this issue and made a self goal with all the media coverage, politicians overreacting ,  and to make matters worse groups like Bajrang Dal giving fatwas for the head of Sidhu.  Best was to simply ignore all this and not give any coverage.

 

Furthermore, Indians and the media want to talk about country's pride and honoring the Army?  If Indians are really that concerned about Pakistan, then they should ban everything Pakistani.  Well Indians should first look at  India Pakistan trade is the billions of dollars.  Money which eventually trickles down to funding  the 'enemy' state and Army which kills the Indian soldiers .  

 

Moreover, of all the self righteous talk, the posters (not even regular users but moderators/admins)  in this thread and forum can start with themselves who go about posting on pakistani "green ghetto", posting selfies in pakistani shirts and thereby promoting and contributing to the forums and  where they play the role of  subservient guests quite well.
