express bowling
Avesh Khan 2 for 22 so far. The dismissals are bowled and LBW. Looks like he is bowling the right length and line ... which is good. UrmiSinhaRay, vishalvirsingh, Suhaan and 1 other 3 1 Link to comment

express bowling
Looking at the pacers chosen for this game ... al 4 pacers ( Avesh, Prasidh, Porel and Thampi ) have either pace or height and bounce or both. And all are thought to be good prospects. After trying Siraj, Saini and Rajpoot in 3 A-team series this year ... it makes a lot of sense to try the next in line quicks with pace and bounce. The selectors are showing a lot of vision here. And choice of batters are good too. All the more reason why the poor national team selections look like influences by the Team management. rkt.india
Two Spinners went for 221 in 50 overs. Thampi just bowled 2 overs and Porwal 9. Ye kya qtiyappa hai. Earlier in place of Thampi would have been a better choice . Switchblade and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1 Link to comment

It’s Kohli and Dhoni running the show. Virat Kohli wants TTFs & Has-Beens in the team because of their so called “experience” whereas Dhoni wants his CSK teammates because they won him the IPL trophy so he thinks they can win the World Cup as well. express bowling, UrmiSinhaRay and Laaloo 1 2 Link to comment

Another shami in the making I said this because Avesh had a habit of bowling a bit too short and the ball would miss the stumps. If he is hitting the stumps regularly then that is a big progress for him. Moreover, 2 of those 4 wickets were very early in the innings when the ball does not reverse. Shami is around 5'9" and hitting the stumps comes naturally to him. Avesh is a 6'2" pacer and his bowling style and trajectory of the ball is totally different. He will do well outside Asia if he is accurate as he has natural bounce and the balls would carry easily to slips if nicked. Avesh was always a better bowler than khaleel ..much faster and always fetched more wickets when they bowled together. I am sure he would have got a bit hurt. Avesh looks stronger than khaleel and even taller. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment

Even trundler vanky prasadam got bounce in Australia n New Zealand..even kumble who was a trundler more than spinner got bounce outside of Asia. UrmiSinhaRay and express bowling 1 1 Link to comment
