One thing Rahul no longer can complaint about is him not getting an extended run. He has played last 10 tests. I cant think of one player under kohli who has got that kind of run.

Rahane too has got a consistent run as iirc he played all tests vs Eng as well .... I think he played one test in SA .... so close behind Rahul

Rahul is an out of the world talent. Actually destined to become an even better batsman than Bradman. The problem  seems  to be that Bambi mafia is pulling his legs all the way from Bambi while he is at the crease.
Haha What has Rahul Done to Justify Being Compared with Bradman.Batting is Not only about Shots Case in point Yuvraj Thing. In Test Match Concentration Discipline Shot Selection Technique are as important if not more than Natural Talent.Problem with Rahul is he is not sure what type of batsman he wants to be .I think he is best as a dasher.

Reminds me of how Kambli had to go back to rectify his weakness vs the short ball (off the field he was a bit naughty as well) .... and Kambli was a talent and had a great start to his career. In fact avgs 54-55 in tests .... and probably is the fastest to 1000 runs for Ind

What are his averages in SA, England and this WI series ?

The cumulative average versus SA, England and WI is 13.13.That batting average is like the batting average of specialist bowlers.

Just checked his averages. Last 5 series the cumulative average is 24.41 (allrounders batting average) which is 13 runs less that his career average of 37.04. Surely he has to have a batting average better than tailenders or allrounders as can be seen in recent past.Hope he turns around the horrible bad patch that he is going through.

SL - 28.66

SA series: 7.50

Afghanistan - 54

England - 29.90

WI -  2
