Your preferred ODI squad for WI series?

We don’t need a full strength team to beat WI at home, even India A is good enough to defeat them. 

 

I would choose the following squad if I was in charge of squad selection:

I know this squad won’t be selected but it is my preferred squad to face WI. This team is good enough to win the ODI series at home against this WI side that barely qualified for the World Cup.

Play one of the Ranji sides or u19 team. Still India can beat them.

I want chahar, thakur, kaul, msd, rayadu nd kartik to play all series till WC as i have full confidence that by then all of them will have proven themselves to be not suitable for odis and that way WC19 cld be saved.

I would like to see shaw batting at number 4 he could be that answer for number 4 muddle, also would like to see bhuvi  bumrah  dhawan rested and shami (you just can't ignore a guy who bowled with injured knee in 2015wc)  spearhead the bowling attack in order to have an alternate experience fast bowler ready in case  bhuvi or  bumrah gets injured.

Biriyani, Dhongi and Side chucker in our middle order= Rust. The rot set in many months ago when we decided to use our LOIs as a retirement home. 

 

Id rather have Gill, Shaw and Pant as our middle order.

Shaw is there in my 11.

 

Gill plays at a moderate SR as of today in the 50 over format.  With so many consolidators around, he does not look like the best fit in this team as of today.
