There will come a match when top 3 may fail. With this team, We have no chance in 2019 WC.

Yes he wont skip. Its not bcoz he don't have the balls to say no but it sells well in India. Just look at the way posters like @Switchblade jumping up and down in this thread at the thought of cancelling IPL. So as a skipper you wont want to miss out on such an event. But yes, post IPL he will again skip few international series sighting fatigue, injury etc. Welcome to 2018 bruv

Well I am not the one jumping up and down it would be done by Bcci as they will lose billions when they didn’t cancel it during World t20 or Ct why would they cancel now all they can do is manage the workload of key players.You should perhaps ask Bcci to cancel the event.

Forget BCCI, what is your opinion bruv? Should IPL happen next year which finishes just 1 week before the WC? Should Kohli play in it with back injury?

It should be either shortened or for India at least Kohli, Dhawan and Rohit should be rested because without them, their batting is phuss and all other teams should not give NOC to their fast bowlers

It's good to talk about cancelling IPL now...once april-may comes and there is no cricket,most ppl will be wrist splitting here

I still remember the boring two weeks after every IPL where there is no cricket.

Divide teams in to 2 groups. Group winners play the final .... if IPL is in SA, you don’t even need home and away games. Can just play 1 game vs each side

In 2009 the had home base MI had Cape Town Delhi had Durban Csk had Joburg plus 1 game vs each side would cause massive loss to the franchise so Bcci won’t do it

Those are not real home bases but assigned ones .... Yes, relatively less games could be a concern for BCCI
