No way in UP, BJP will beat Mahagatbandhan or in Bengal they will get 18-22 seats Your assumption is based on caste factor in U.P,the reason I am saying that bjp will beat MGB is, that two teams combining together doesn't necessarily means their core voter will join, second this is a pan India election not state level election, third the schemes which are launched by bjp in u.p are benefiting even the non bjp voters, also you are not counting the percentage of women voters in this which is .4 % less than men, fifth you are not counting the no of young voters this time , modi enjoys tremendous popularity amongst age group 18-25,sixth you are not counting the non jatav dalits and other SC St voters amongst this not to forget the traditional bjp voters plus few no of jatav and yadav votes for bjp seventh the working method of both bjp has and Mgb cadre ,as you can see bjp rss cadre had started working on their strategy of getting 47 to 50% voteshare atleast 5-6 months before election fully knowing that they need to keep not only their voteshare intact but also dent mgb and Cong voteshare so you just can't dismiss that, you have to give them credit while mgb though strong on paper took their advantage for granted, rather then working on their strength didn't even started campaigning properly while bjp rss cadre worked very hard and reached people in door to door campaign,last but certainly not least the TINA(their is no alternative) factor and TIMO(their is modi only)factor,i might be wrong but, TBH these are few points I see not just in u.p and all over India.
