Austin 3:!6 Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 What do you think Govt will do from here? Opposition already screaming their lungs out against Modi. Pakistan have 1 of our soliders in their captivity. So what are the options available for India government? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk UrmiSinhaRay 1
zen Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 Have to keep hitting Pak hard esp. on LOC UrmiSinhaRay 1
maniac Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 Binary situation for Modi pretty much. If he pulls out it will be a lose-lose situation with Pak claiming the upper hand and opposition vultures absolutely circling him. So the only option is finish this one way or the other. speedheat, UrmiSinhaRay and Austin 3:!6 1 1 1

Pak asked for proof for Phulvama and it is pretty much a briefing showing involvement of JEM. The war will continue by the looks of it UrmiSinhaRay 1
Gollum Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 (edited) Keep the tension alive, we take hits no problem but bring the enemy to a tight spot. They can't continue this for long with the state of their economy. And opposition ki toh maa ki. Zyaada bhonke lage toh emergency declare karke sabko jail mein daalo. goose Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 India should invite Pakistan to cede to India
zen Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 what is embarrassing for Ind is that Pak despite its relatively weak economic and conventional military strength is not backing down .... there is no way we can earn respect if we always seek to take the easy route out Sgattick10 1
zen Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 no one gives a damn about being factually or ethically correct .... you started it, now finish it off by entering PoK (or further if required)

On a serious note. India's objectives do not involve re-drawing any borders. We are focused on moving on rather than try to settle scores. In the current situation, it was never an objective to continue escalation - the point was to execute a targeted strike and make the point that the nuclear umbrella cannot and will not be allowed to protect Pakistan from the consequences of supporting terrorism. That has been achieved. If Indian military planners desire to follow-up after the Pak response for strategic purposes, that's fine. For morale purposes? maybe. But thoughtless warmongering is is just that. Thoughtless. Edited February 27, 2019 by sandeep Vilander 1

putrevus Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 Did we shoot any of their planes. What happened to their pilot.300 plus causalities as reported by indiian media but where are images. Is there any statement from Pakistan on this.
Straight Drive Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 (edited) Pakistan has always lost against us in all wars and conflicts. After the attack on 3 terror camps India is already on another high. Surely they will get the job done further as well. BJP is giving deaf ears to Imran Khan's calls to end the war. Personally I feel this war too is handled well in spite of the stupidity shown by opposition. Edited February 27, 2019 by Straight Drive

This is the ideal time to show our might. Otherwise we will look like a coward
Austin 3:!6 Posted February 27, 2019 Author Posted February 27, 2019 Namo needs to prove that he has really ly got 56 inch chest. This is the right time. Exactly. Backing up now will make him feel like coward. I am not saying start a war...but atleast do some firing on LOC.Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk DHONI_FANN and Sgattick10 1 1

If that is on a serious note, I do not want to imagine what being on a casual mode would be .... once you enter the border of an enemy state, the situation can escalate .... and Ind has not given PoK to Pak, which implies that it wants to eventually change the map

Goal is to get Pakistan to stop supporting terrorism. At a minimum, we have changed the equilibrium, as well as the PakMil mindset and calculations when it comes to their policy with "non state actors". Just as PakMil felt compelled to execute a response - we have demonstrated that an attack on India - even if executed by a "non state actor" with so-called plausible deniability, will be considered an act of war and invite military consequences. That is an important message and milestone. They are, and have been, desperate for "talks" for quite some time now. We can dangle the possibility of that, provided they demonstrate sincere and meaningful intent towards even a cold peace. Not through words, but through action. Concrete steps against the likes of LeT and JeM - extradition or the equivalent. Lip-service bans and "arrests" are not going to be enough. In the meantime, there is a very small window - days, more like hours, where Indian forces can get some punches in. By all means, that should happen in a targeted fashion, especially in areas where we can minimize risk of casualties, and hope to achieve tangible gains - maybe grab a few ridges or geographic features along the LOC. The other alternative is a continuation of the undeclared air war. I don't really want to see it go down that road. But its within the realm of possibility. Edited February 27, 2019 by sandeep
