Gollum Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 (edited) Following @SK_IH's thread Possible fab 4 among fast bowlers in the near future. All around the same age with many years left in the tank. Genuine fast, exciting quicks with swagger, their teams heavily depend on them. Let us keep track of them, keep updating. Who will emerge as the best? Edited May 27, 2019 by Gollum Stan AF 1
I6MTW Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 Quite tough to say. Archer is difficult to predict as he is new to the odi side and it's his first WC. A toss up between Rabada and Cummins, I think Rabada will perform better at the death. I think Bumrah's will perform the best, but depends on the pitches.
Norman Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 My money would be on Cummins. Just runs and bowls full throttle and gives his all .
Gollum Posted May 27, 2019 Author Posted May 27, 2019 Bumrah is the best in this format but my fear is he will get burnt out after a few matches. IPL, poor selection here with only 3 quicks, our cramped schedule all are against him.

Starc is 29, these are fab 4 because they are of similar age just like the fab 4 of modern era batting. Starc, Boult, Shami, Roach are of the previous generation...hell Shami may even be from Steyn's generation

He is probably a few yrs younger than these 2.
