vvvslaxman
A decent thriller ;Escape from Alcatraz. It is a based on a true story as it was very hard to escape from Alcatraz prison alive.

They love bolly movies too and just totally different than average middle eastern country. Their attitude is more like Sri Lankans, simple cool people to hang out with, love their country and just want peace. velu

HBO has lots of great comedies as well, which don't get their due IMO. Veep, Barry and Silicon Valley to name 3 recent ones. One great HBO series which is fairly recent but almost forgotten despite excellent-to-outstanding critical reception is Enlightened. And the movie is a very bad adaptation of The Illiad, with some divergent sub plots. Also 300 happens to make a mockery of Persians. velu and Vijy

It is just about as historical as that "Asoka" movie with Shahrukh.

Straight Drive
Kaala Patthar . Based on Chasnala mine tragedy. Wasn't a big hit when it was released. So lucky to get a ticket to watch it. Good movie based on true happenings, even for the modern day in some professionals like miners.
