First class
Most of the posts on this thread suggest Indians are generally unhappy. Only an unhappy and frustrated person will blame others for his/her being unhappy and feel jealous for other for being happy. You guys have been successful in improving your economy, infrastructure, education, now need to work on how to enjoy it. Why bashing Pakistan and using foul language, learn from them how to be contented and be happy. If calling Pakistanis dogs and what not is the only way you feel happy, then its OK, no problem, just be happy. Norman

Could be one of the reasons. The vast majority are also mentally deficient. You still have 20 - 30 year olds thinking WWE wrestling is real. Vancouver
Indians get real happiness when neighbor's daughter runs away, when Vijay Mallya is labeled as thug. They say real happiness is inside you but happiness for Indians is in being boastful about caste, in downfall of others, in rooting for xyz communal racist politician, in hating their neighbors (or neighboring countries). Indians do not have any gratitude towards fellow human beings, saying sorry or thank you is huge deal. GoldenSun, Iconoclast and Stan AF
vvvslaxman
These are the metrics they used. namely GDP per capita, social support, life expectancy, freedom to make life choices, generosity and perceptions of corruption GDP per capita India > Pakistan Social support India > Pakistan Life expectancy India > Pakistan Freedom to make life choices India > Pakistan Generosity/Perceptiosn of corruption India > Pakistan If you add scientific, technological, medical advancements India is way ahead. Many pakistanis visit India for treatment. Education is million times better than that of Pakistan. Cultural diversity India is way better Heritage, History India is way better Entertainment industry not even comparison Sports again no comparison Buying capacity significantly increased. It is not a war torn area where some other country is bombing us. This is a retarded calculation by the source.

Cricketics
Indian work culture sucks, thats why. Yes, work from home is available too now, but overall the workd culture sucks. Even though you might not be physicallhy working late in the office, you are stiill supposed to be there and spend the hours etc. That kind of shyt culture needs to go fully. Its getting better from what I hear but it still needs major overhaul. You can't be keeping employees tiill 7-8 pm daily if they came early to work. Once in a week is fine if its a "release" week but overall, the managements back home aren't ready to provide. that work and life balance to their team members. velu and Turning_track 1

Sandeep99
Sometimes, delusion brings happiness. You can see many roadside beggars who have nothing to lose. They seem happier than most. I see nothing different here. velu, adi B and Turning_track 2

Forget about why Pakistanis are much happier, thats their "problem".. tell me why Indians are so unhappy to be ranked among the lowest compared to all other countries in the world. Norman
That list is a joke. It says Iraqis are happier than us. People should stop taking these trivial surveys seriously. 5 hours ago, First class said: Forget about why Pakistanis are much happier, thats their "problem".. tell me why Indians are so unhappy to be ranked among the lowest compared to all other countries in the world.
