beetle Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Delhi capitals shoot themselves in the foot again. They trade a potential matchwinner again .He could have been the big hitter but they trade him after one season. Mumbai Indians rope in Sherfane Rutherford, trade Mayank Markande to Delhi Capitals https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/27292950/mumbai-indians-rope-sherfane-rutherford,-trade-mayank-markande-delhi-capitals Cricketics 1
Nikola Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 It's good trade for Delhi i guess. Markande has potential and he is indian so no limitation on playing him.

Markande is no longer a surprise. Rutherford should have been played for atleast another season. He could be the finisher DC so badly needs. Switchblade and saik 2
sandeep Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Or maybe Rutherford isn't that good, and Markande replaces Mishra quite nicely? Nikola 1
Cricketics Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 One positive I can see is that for Indian Cricket and it is that Mr. Markande will get to spend quality time with a well known legend Shri Amit Mishra Ji. He will be warming bench in Kotla, most times but when Mishra Ji is back from fielding 20 overs, he will take him on a ride to Khan Market in his scooty.

cricketfan28 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Lets hope Rutherford flops .. I am pretty sure he won't.

Mishra ji is on his way out also akshar isn't exactly a match winner. Plus with Shaw dhawan and iyer no place for ruthford.

Morris seems to be done... Maxwell only trolls ipl teams...atleast that is what he did in DD.
Moochad Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 DC needs better Indian fast bowling. They are too reliant on overseas pacers. Who is available in auction? If DC get a good one, that will give'm better flexibility in the playing 11 as well.
Pollack Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Excellent catch. I am unimpressed with his temperament tbh but he will learn and has a potential of big hitting match winner for t20s.

SecondSlip Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Looks like Delhi is going to release Tewatia and brought in Markande in his place. He can be in the starting XI if Mishra loses form.
beetle Posted August 3, 2019 Author Posted August 3, 2019 Looks like Ambanis wanted him and they got him. Switchblade 1

Mishra neways havent been a that impactful as other leggies for other teams have been......he comes in form only in 2nd half of IPL when wkts wear n tear down. Tewatia again hasnt been that wkt taker . They had to go to sandeep lamichane for that Markhande is a very good addition, if he fires they can play more overseas fast bowler or lower order batsman Edited August 3, 2019 by Ankit_sharma03 SecondSlip 1
