Why ????

 

After having amazing success with quick bowlers Bumrah and Shami .... why do we want to go back to medium pace and fast medium bowlers only ????

 

Chahar ... Medium pacer

 

Khaleel ... Varies between medium pace and fast-medium

 

Shardul ... Varies between medium pace and fast-medium and may have lost some pace after his last injury. Moreover, he is too short for a medium pacer or fast-medium pacer.

 

We are going back to the 1980s with this choice of pacers.

What does this Thakur, Kaul , chahar ever does to get direct entry in national team...where as the fast bowlers like Suraj,saini,Avesh, mavi, prasidh who regularly play, perform and slog their asses in all domestic versions struggles to break in to even one format .

We don't have the b@ll$ to try exciting young fast bowlers in a T20 series vs Bangladesh !!

 

I won't buy the logic of developing team for World T20.

 

Everyone knows that Bumrah and Bhuvi would be the first choice pacers for that tournament.

 

Chahar can be Bhuvi's backup.

 

Neither Khaleel nor Shardul have the pace or bounce or accuracy to be Bumrah's backup.

 

Prasidh and Mavi should have been tried.
