ShoonyaSifar
Will Cummins and Hazlewood even commit to playing IPL? Doubt if they will get any bid, going by what Starc did last season. IMO Lynn, Richardson, Woakes and Morris likely to see bidding wars nevada 1 Link to comment
sandeep
Uthappa is setting himself up to go the Badrinath route. Big mistake for him to set his base price so high. Better to keep it half of that, and let teams bid it up. At least that gives him maximum chances of getting selected. Vilander, nevada and sandsaims 3 Link to comment

rahulrulezz
Every year Angelo Mathews puts his base price the highest, every year he gets picked, and every year his team comes last in the IPL speedheat, Turning_track, Zero_Unit and 3 others 6 Link to comment

There are at least 10 Indian players who can open for IPL teams - guys like Surya, Parthiv, even that no-name dude from RR. Easily 5-6 available Indian players who can fill that kind of role. Even CSK like Old player so even CSK can bid. KXIP need good indian batsman to so Even they can go and their coach is kumble But robin wnt compete with Surya n parthiv as they are already bought. This IPL auction few indian are in auction like Robin, Piyush chawla, unadkat....i feel they ll all get good bids Edited December 3, 2019 by Ankit_sharma03 Link to comment

Case can be made for and against, Robin. Just like Badrinath was one of the better middle order batsmen around in the IPL, when his career ended prematurely due to an unnecessarily high bid price. After a certain age, teams will not want to overpay for past performers on the downswing, especially if their price is too high. They will happily overbid for a younger player, but not for an older one. In Yuvi's case, his name recognition and brand carried a certain value, and there's always a shortage of Indian batsmen who can hit a lot of 6s. Robin has made his IPL bones batting in the top order, not lower. I wish him luck, but its a dumb move to set a high base price on his part. rahulrulezz 1 Link to comment

Badrinath didnt even have a half a success as robin uthappa in ipl. Uthappa has been a top ipl player. Neither badrinath was seen as a game changer. UthappaJust been struggling for 1-2 yr with form. In last few yrs in kkr its been lynn n narine opening so uthappa has been playing at 3 n 4 . His avg are better at 3 4 then open. Take yusuf pathan example - gets sold every time ...highly inconsistent very poor in field. Still he has buyer and i wnt be surprised if he gets this year as well. Take bhajji example, he wasnt playing much cricket but kept his base price 2 cr and got sold to CSK for Base price by which he assured a good amount coming. Indian experienced player are always of high value Lets see how does he do in auction. I have a feeling he ll fetch a good price Edited December 3, 2019 by Ankit_sharma03 Link to comment
rahulrulezz
Did someone say pick Uthappa. This is 2020 IPL not 2017 IPL.. Uthappa single handedly cost KKR 2018 and 2019 season... And you want that bugger to be picked by other IPL teams. Link to comment
