Manjrekar sends you a valentine

Manjrekar should send it to Imran. I will tell him to stuff it and you know exactly where.

Did Imran win a test series stralia?

He did win WC and Kohli has lost that with better teams.

True. He did not need lady luck to help him out. Plus he did beat mighty Windies.

In my opinion this is not even controversial. Imran has WC 92 and Kohli has nothing to show.

You do know that Imran came out of retirement when his team won the WC, right? And your comment is based on looking at someone entire career vs. someone who has quite a few years left

Imran was a very good captain and player. We cant keep discounting players abilities just because they are Pakistani.

Kohli needs one overseas series victory in SA/ENG and ICC trophy to overtake him but there is plenty of time left.

I understand that. Once Kohli wins something then I will change my opinion accordingly. So ffar the body of work Kohli has done is not impressive.

Rat is not a great captain. Immy was definitely a good captain, although shakoor rana, bottle caps, etc also helped him. however, I do not place immy in the same league as taylor, fleming, brearley, etc.

All tha is true but he did win the WC without all that.

Do you guys care for win loss columns and consistency or just take Sanju Manju's word for everything?

I bet you also think Viv was a better batsman than Kohli. LOL.

And Lara was better than Sachin.

Win/Loss for bilaterals mean nothing. You have to deliver in the real deal and Kohli gets an F.

Only one backdoor WC win means nothing. To be considered a great captain you have to show that you can win, win a lot more than lose and win consistently against everyone.

Imran Khan ODI record: 75-59

8-24 vs Australia, 14-24 vs West Indies, 5-10 vs England. The only team he did really well against was India(19-4) and Sri lanka(21-4), which is why you have either PTSD being an Indian fan or nostalgia being a Pakistani fan. IK was mediocre in every way possible.

Virat Kohli ODI record: 62-21

11-6 vs Australia, 7-1 vs South Africa, 12-3 West Indies, 3-4 vs England.

This is so lopsided that you're comparing an international legend in Kohli to gully kaptaan in Imran. Imran made his record seem better than it was by beating bad ODI teams in Srilanka and India. He is the FTB version of a captain.
