Are Indians anti-one kid policy? I am surprised this topic doesn’t get raised enough or doesn’t become a big issue like some of the other things do. What t are your thoughts on this?
diga Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 Lots of groups are against 1 child policy.. even RSS chief asked Hindus to have more kids to counter Muslim growth. But the people who religiously have more than 2 kids are muslims and certain percentage of Catholics

It's high time we introduce this. Whoever in the end needs to revolt can revolt. Screw their religiouss views - be it RSS or Musslims, Sikhs or different clans be it villages in Punjab or whatever it. Ranvir Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 The one child policy will never happen because of democracy. The opposition party will simply say if you vote for them you can have as many kids as you want and the illiterates will then vote for them.

Look at fertility rates, poorest district in Bihar (Hindu majority) has less TFR compared to Malappuram in Kerala which is like 70% M.....overall Bihar's TFR is more than twice that of Kerala.
