If ishant is unfit for test who replaces him

I think Ishant is definitely unfit and his injury wont recover too fast.

Are they avoiding to select a replacement?

I think It is Siraj.  And it should be.

 

But Shardul somehow always sneaks in 

 

Prasidh has not returned from his injury break yet. And he is a LOI candidate as of now. Missing this whole FC season is a sad thing. It would have prepared him for test cricket.

I think we will see shardul play. My belief is that we will see the following 5-man "pace attack" - unadcutter, shardul, deepak chahar, kaul, and dubey ("all-rounder"). this team will be chosen because: (a) unadcutter, shardul and deepak can "bat", (b) dubey is allegedly yuvi's successor with bat (and also alleged mumbai lobby), and (c) kaul because he can make punjabi dishes.

I am worried it will be Shardul. Wasn't he picked in the home series as well? His domestic FC record is mediocre as well, not sure how he made it in to the senior side.

I had this exact same injury while playing football 1.5 years back, horrible pain. Took me almost 2 months to recover, didn't play outdoor sports for 2-3 more months after complete recovery, stuck to TT. I am sure Ishant will have all the tools to quicken recovery but don't see him recovering in time.
