It depends on which version of Kohli turns up though to be fair.

 

If he is humiliated, laughed and ridiculed he is peerless, he takes his game to another level.

Mayank fully justifying his selection here. Great persistence. Loved the look of him when I first saw him live in Australia. He is the key.

 

Has the game to score big. He needs to be the anchor of this innings.

No it's not.. Its typical nz wicket great for batting in the second third n 4th innings

Apart from stupid shot selection from Rat, India didn't do much wrong in the first session. Especially Pujara absorbed so much pressure upfront when Mayank got to face bare minimum deliveries. He got a peach.
