From a mindset stand point he is like Dravid. But Dravid was a far classy stroke player. He had beautiful fool proof bat extension against swinging balls when the ball was pitched up.

This is my point ... look at dravid .. his back lift his high .. so when sees a ball to be hit he commits and sees it early ... pujara on the other hand is so worried about failing because he only plays test matches needs to keep it very tight .. problem is we are not creating a winning mentality .... this is very defensive approach

Looks like New Zealand will play an all pace attack in the next game. Wagner will come in for Patel.

NZ could probably go in with 8 bowlers, a wicketkeeper and Williamson and Ross and that would be enough to win.

Gone. That was a bad leave. He thought the ball would move out.

Very idea of bowling round the wicket was for that type of dismissal lol So it was a reckless leave

I am shocked at how posters here are defenfing pujara's game. This guy has been a disappointment outside asia (except aus) his avgs in nz, Sa, eng are below average.

No, he is not the best test batsman,  from india, not even close, kohli is a level above this shotless wonder.
