In NZ and england, Pujara should not be number 3. He should be an opener that can blunt the ball so batsmen ahead can score easily.

Checked some old matches in NZ. All those pitches we played were on relatively brown even on day 1.  This is the greenest pitch India has ever played in NZ.

But a good improvement by Shaw'ty shown this test match - playing noticeabl straighter, and immediately looked much better.  If he can be anything like Veeru 2.0 - India test matches are  going to be so much more fun to watch.

If you are rerferring to 2002 series. That was not green. That was drop in pitch which excessive lateral movement.  Pitch itself was not green like this. This one was almost like the ground

Hi footwork showed improvement. I am sold he is good but should have got a 100.

In SENA conditions on a wicket that was expected to have pace, bounce and seam you would take that Lunch scoreline, 10 out of 10 times. Just a shame that Shaw got out late before lunch.

Mayank's REVIEW, was fine, I can understand why he took it, it was swinging and a chance it may have missed leg.

Kohli was totally plumb, Pujara probably petrified to say dont take it, because if it was missing, Kohli would have had Pujara's head on a stake in the change rooms.
