Should BCCI go ahead with IPL or should they play Asia Cup ,if current situation improves?

I think they are keen on playing it in Sept-October

Asia Cup is also to be held during the same time

So if situation improves and improves drastically well,should the BCCI pull out of Asia cup and play IPL?SLC too has showed interest in hosting IPL....

I will too endorse for IPL to be held if things fall in place,Asia cup primarily has lost its charm,with Pak,Sl at minnow level,

It has become more of an Ind-BD affair in recent years

SLC has showed interest, BCCI has not responded officially yet

Asia cup proves nothing. IPL all the way. India should minimize the games played with asian countries.

Both. Need our players to get in the groove by playing many T20 matches, but we also need to play our national side keeping in mind the T20 WC in Nov.  So a reduced IPL, say single round robin followed by Asia Cup. Priority has to be to win the ICC event.

Ya but only reason why BCCI would not play in India is the moonsoon. Playing in SL won't solve that problem. What's the point of them showing interest?

They think they can hold it in month of July than the already scheduled bilaterals against India and it is more fruitful for them ,but BCCI is looking for Sept-Oct slot,maybe BCCI wants it to hold it in India(chances of it to happen in India remains bleak as government may not allow large scale gathering)

IPLs net worth is 6 Billion plus? So there's a lot to lose if its not held, while nobody cares about Asia cup these days anyways

Sri Lanka maybe logistically cheaper , but then you also will have to be contend with the weather during the Monsoons there, so Im not sure about this Lankan proposition

Yes IPL should given priority especially when pakistani is making hue and cry ,,,, Mani said we can't accomodate ipl for asia cup.
