This is not new in Indian Cricket.

Even worse than this is Jaydev Shah, son of Niranjan Shah.

The guy played and captained saurashtra, which included guys like Pujara n Jaddu, for years

Played 120 FC matches with batting avg of 29.

Look at his cricinfo profile. They have absolutely nothing to say about his batting :hysterical:

Absolutely disgusting and nobody here even talks about it.

Blatant case of nepotism yes, but I would still trust them more than the unaccountable CoA jokers or those from the court running the BCCI.

Dada and Shah combo has been working well so far. Not many controversies unlike the CoA days when everyday there was a hearing in the Supreme Court or one idiot resigning or publicly criticising the other member. Fat egos, little contributions.

BCCI is a money milking buffalo, jiska laathi uski bhais, Filhaal Laathi is in the hands of BJP. One thing good with Kaangress was they never interfered in the Cricketing matters apart from banning Pakistan tours. BJP wants their share on literally everything. Shah needs money to buy MLA's, BCCI will give him that extra 'Kesh'.

It's simple really, Amit Shah was Gujarat cricket association president, His son had also represented GCA.  So these positions in BCCI are nominated from state association representative.

That is the problem, this is not some family hierarchy where son succeeds the father. His father becoming GCA president itself is troublesome. We don't need these politicians to dictate how the game needs to be promoted , developed and played in India.

BCCI was built on wealthy industrialists/businessmen who for the love of game invested their own time and money. Politicians were not found anywhere then as it did not have lot of money. Now everyone wants a piece of it.

As expected, deafening silence and some replies that are pussyfooting at best. No surprises there

As for  the topic, @putrevus it's extremely foolish of us to expect law being followed in india and that too if it is involving politicians as you can see for yourself the fans performing mental gymnastics defending it.

Nothing left to say.

That is problem, everybody is so  trained and conditioned for these things by these politicians. It does not matter what party, all these morons want only  one thing.I am flabbergasted that people are okay with it.

I got introduced to him by my mate a former Sautrashta captain , he was a pompious git who thought he was god . His father and him ran Saurashtra cricket and no one dared speak against them
