Pandya isn't lower order.  And he's done it plenty of times.  Think back all the way to that ICC CT final.

Jadeja is finally becoming the batsman which we all wanted to see him as. He has been scoring in test matches too.

 

Surely a guy with 3 triple hundreds in Ranji can bat. His best as a batsman is coming in later part of his career. But thats good for Indian cricket that it is happening.
