Tbf if you saw the chase at Dharmshala in 2017 I knew we were gonna cruise along, Pujara gone early that game as well - no Kohli, then too Rahane played a similar counter attack. I bet Brat loses this chase 9/10 times

True but overseas we generally lose the match at toss when we’re fielding first..

And this is the most dominating win also. 

 

Aussies were saving innings defeat once. 

 

Most of our wins against strong teams overseas are close, fighting wins. This was complete dominance and haven't seen anything like this before.

Boxing day test win in 2018 was also just as convincing. But I guess this is more memorable because of the context.

IMO this is India's greatest moment in cricket history, not just tests. This win is above 1983/2011 F, even above 2001 Eden Gardens and our previous famous overseas triumphs.

2001 Eden Gardens was an epochal win.  That Ozzie team was coming in with 16 straight wins (this Ozzie team is not even close) and beat us badly in Mumbai.  They then had India by the ba11s until .... ya know.  From a cricketing perspective, it may have changed captains' perspectives on follow-ons (not sure if the stats bear it out, but it is probably discussed every time this decision has to be made).  Most importantly, it then cascaded into a series win in Chennai and the greatest ever test team was brought to its knees.  

 

Yes, 2020 MCG being an away win after 36 a.o. adds more sheen, but man ... I simply cannot put it above 2001 EG.

Only thing that makes me take pause on #2 is that the WI attack was a bit weak.
