For some reason ( let's not go into it ) the people of TN oppose CAA. But CAA is for Indians, not Tamils. - Indians dont want more of Tamils in India.. if its not apparent yet dont know what will be.

Only 36k remain out of 800k who are waiting to be resettled. Many have also married Indian citizens in Tamil Nadu and attained citizenship through marriage. In addition, GoI directly invests money in Northern regions of SL so these people can be resettled. No such situation exists in Bd or Pakistan.
