Karunanidhi had three official wives. Managed two wives at same time. May be because of the law he claimed he is not Hindu but atheist :phehe:

There is no “Atheist” marriage act in our constitution. There is one for Muslim Personal laws and one for the rest. He should’ve declared himself Muslim to save himself from law (if a wife had complained), like Dharam paaji.

Actually Deshmukh (cvoter) expects bjp to pick up 2 seats in kk district and also win the ls seat. Specifically nagarcoil and colachel.

Different dynamics in that district as opposed to rest of tn.

He is suggesting a wash out in chennai delta and north tn. Which suggests that pmk might be getting 0.

Sonda kasil soniyam vaithu kolvathu eppadi ?

No wonder he has to bring in people from Karnataka to do poll work in Aravakurichi . Bye bye Annamalai rofl

saw the video speech in Kannada. He never said he will not solve Cauvery crisis. He is saying that “when he left TN for the job, only about 300 people knew him. In Karnataka, they didn’t see him as a Tamilian or about Cauvery issue (although it is a sensitive issue) and accepted him only because he did police work well”. As usual, DKs are spreading fake news to malign his chances. Vile peeps.

speaking to people on cvoter of the 49, the break up as conveyed to me is two leaves symbol AIADMK 44, 3 BJP (Colachel, Nagarcoil and Tirunelveli)  PMK 2 (Pennagaram and Sholinghur),

I await confirmation.

Savukku has actually been hitting out against Uday Stalin floating the theory he would be deputy CM and calling him brainless.

Surprised this power broker was quoted....

177 is a loss, IMO.

Anything less than 200 is a loss imo.

Exactly. I still think 200+ is possible, it depends on how much AMMK and MNM can eat into ADMK's share in kongu.

Arguably the greatest artist I have ever seen. But when I hear his political ideas I feel like running to Periyar.

Serious?

Not even the greatest artist from his state of his generation.

Not related to the topic here, but why do you suggest that Kamal Hassan is the greatest artist you've seen?

I know you are a movie buff, hence the shock. And the question.

IMO, Dhanush is far more versatile ( won't use the word greater) artist than Kamal Hassan.

Ok so it seems KH being greatest is not a given :) So let’s forget that part. Let’s just look at what makes him uniquely talented.

1) An all rounder. Actor, trained dancer, writer, director and occasionally musician.

2) Choice of movies. Very few stars can claim to be pushing the ante with each of their movies like Kamal. One may not like all his work but one can’t fault him for his ambition. His ambition sometimes exceeded his abilities.

3) Rewatchability. Like any top class artists, his film compel repeat viewings and every time you see the nuances. It’s also because of dense screenplays that he has with repeated patterns and themes .

4) As a tamilian, I always get amazed how he is able to adapt different Tamil accents. I would say as good at voice modulation as Sanjeev Kumar was.

Sharing a review here. I think Bharadwaj does a good job in dissecting his genius. I would recommend even non tamilians to watch this movie.
