Great bowler,  Remember when ICF used to joke about Ishant Sharma's "bad luck?" Yeah ... I get that same feeling now with this guy.

He is a gem of a guy. Prasidh krishna mavi nagarkotti warrier are in awe of him in kkr squad. He is always helping them out always supporting them.. good bloke

I never said results would have changed but Aussies sticking to just four bowlers and underbowling Green hurt themselves.

Yeah superlative effort but often I wonder if we would appreciate our own players so very much had they been in a comparative (not similar) position.

 

After all, many times we tend to question our own by saying:  But did he win it for us?

 

So did Cummins win it for Australia?

So did Cummins win it for Australia?

He didn't. And unlike the Aussie bowlers of 2005 Ashes who failed by a narrow margin, Cummins failed by a country mile. He bowled only as well as he was allowed to, and failed to make any impression on Pant and Sundar. Even in our first innings, he failed to break the Sundar-Thakur partnership. He has the best stats this series but has failed at crucial moments for his team.

When he hit Pujara, he genuinely stepped up and inquired about his welfare and made sure he was okay.  Hazlewood can learn a thing or two from Cummins.
