He will be mighty pleased with the recent wins, especially in phase of career where his individual run contribution was under scrutiny. In the captaincy aspect, he has done well more often than not. No I am not, I don't like to kick out an ATG odi player based on few innings. I am sure lot of geniuses here would have been advocating for useless Sai for number 3 if Kohli did not score runs in second odi. Nov 2027 is long way ahead, this nonsense that Rohit and Kohli need to prove their worth every innings is ridiculous. Would I trust useless guys like Ishan , Iyer or Sai over 40 year old Rohit in a big match then answer is no. If there was a quality batsman sitting outside, I would have been all for it. Other than Jaiswal there is no batsman even worth trying for 2027.
