Need such enforcers in our LOI middle order There is no room in the middle order. We have enough power players already. Can he bowl at least? I would rather have a younger Ish Kish
Norman Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 Just play the Mumbai Indians XI minus overseas players plus Indian like-to-like replacements.... Rohit Rahul SKY Kishan Pandya Pant Krunal R Chahar D Chahar Bumrah Natarajan I'm sure, this team is more clutch to win the WC than whatever crap Rat-Bewda come up with....
zen Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 Kishan KL Kohli/Rohit SKY SDP Pant Sundar Tewatia ... or Varun C if a specialist spinner is needed Bhuvi Saini/Thakur/D Chahar Natrajan
Gollum Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 (edited) Want to see us experiment, test rookies, rest overworked players like Pant/Rohit. Kohli will definitely play after his poor test series performance and non-availability in Aus, so have to accommodate him, and he will play at his favorite #3 spot. Read that Varun C and Tewatia failed fitness test, a pity. With these constraints, my XI will be: 1. KLR 2. Sundar (just want to se how he goes about his innings construction, if it doesn't work out, fine push him down in later assignments, at least give it a shot) 3. Kohli 4. Kishan 5. SKY 6. Hardik 7. Axar 8. Thakur 9. Saini 10. Chahal (could have selected a younger spinner in the squad) 11. Nattu Even if Hardik plays as pure batsman this XI gives 6 proper bowling options: 3 pacers including a lefty, 3 spinners of different kinds. Bats deep, 3 LHBs in top 7. Dynamic batting order. GautiMaan Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 KL Rohit Kohli Pant SKY SDP Sundar Axar Shardul Bumrah Nattu Batting till 9 and 6 bowling options, Total Cricket FTW I'm not sure we need to play Chahal just for the sake of playing a leggie,if we can win tests without legspin we sure as hell can be successful in t20s,packing the batting and keeping on hitting is the way to go.
Ankit_sharma03 Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 If India wants to look ahead Rohit, Kohli and Bhuvi shud rotate . Dhawan shud warm bench in every game
sage Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 Play the Mumbai Indians team then carefully slot in 4 Rest of India players to replace the overseas
express bowling Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 1. Rohit 2. Rahul 3. Kohli 4. Pant ( wk ) 5. Hardik 6. SKY 7. Sundar 8. Shardul 9. Chahal 10. Saini 11. Natarajan

Thakur has improved in recent times both as a power hitter and bowler. Has developed a few types of slower balls. And SKY is playing some amazing knocks in the last 5 overs. mancalledsting Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper) KL Rahul Virat Kohli (c) Hardik Pandya Shreyas Iyer Suryakumar Yadav Ishan Kishan Washington Sundar Bhuvneshwar Kumar Varun Chakravarthy T Natarajan Strategy: Go really hard from the beginning with Kohli to anchor the innings (none of this conservative nonsense brought in by Rohit/Shikhar) and deep batting lineup for protection. Opening bowling with 2 overs of Bhuvi (swing) and Washington (fast darts). Middle overs Hardik, Sundar and Varun. Finish up with Natrajan and Bhuvi.
