ravishingravi Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 (edited) So, I think it fair to say that states which have been on top of this through and through are Assam, Kerala, North East states and TN to some extent . States which seem to have averted the issues are Rajasthan, UP, Orissa. But it’s funny that the media is talking of Maharashtra model. More than 20% of cases and 30% of deaths with less 10 % of total population. Edited May 8, 2021 by ravishingravi

High numbers arent an issue ...issue is when u deny and cant handle it. Even when high numbers were coming from Maharashtra...it wasnt a bad thing as it was made out coz they were at least acknowledging the problem. You cant handle the problem unless u acknowledge it and thats why numbers in Mumbai are going down now coz if you accept the issue and start working on it results will come . Hiding numbers is the issue then having high numbers and showing it. Edited May 8, 2021 by Ankit_sharma03 nevada 1

Yoda-esque Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Anti-COVID drug developed by DRDO approved by India’s Drug Controller for emergency use. “Clinical trial results show this molecule helps in faster recovery of hospitalised patients and reduces supplemental oxygen dependence.”Someone here was questioning what DRDO does.

ravishingravi Posted May 9, 2021 Posted May 9, 2021 (edited) Seems like we are well on course for hitting the peak. Karnataka and Kerala are the major ones with more new cases than recoveries. If all goes to plan, it should start coming off quickly in next two weeks. Edited May 9, 2021 by ravishingravi

PFizer information claims that the 2nd dose is best effective if taken after 6 weeks of first dose, 2-3 weeks after 2nd dose, the immunity is effective to fight Corona. This is like 9 weeks (2+ months) after first dose. In this period , it is best not to travel or use guidelines to not get exposed to the virus.
