No he did bowl 143,144+ in same over last year despite coming back after 2 years, although he didn't set the stage on fire with his pace for all he was known for Don't discount these two as of now express bowling and Mosher 2

Rotating his back leg fine. He is a side on bowler so backfoot is going to be parallel to the crease. Chakdephatte 1

Mosher Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Kohli "[Umran Malik] good to see a guy bowling at 150 clicks. It's important to understand the progress of individuals from here, how to look after yourself. We've got to maximise the potential of our fast bowling stocks." I suppose that's a sling; he might have a slingy bowling action, but I'm not sure. Need to decrease his jump bit too high imo.
ShoonyaSifar Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 I just hope BCCI grooms Umran properly and doesn't leave even a slightest of window of him going the Varun Aaron way.

Brett Lee also had jump being a slingy bowler. Kartik also has jump. Umran's jump isn't as high as Lee or Kartik. speedheat 1

msb1991 Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 It is a great action. I think the test with him will be how the stress areas cope, e.g., back, knees, ankles with such high pace. No one bowls 150kph without some serious injuries. speedheat and vishalvirsingh 2
