Global.Baba
Has all the skills and talent minus the temperament and brains. However seems to be batting with responsibility along with his high risk game. Seems like a different player but you never know with Maxwell, a millionaire one day and a pauper the next. Is this another false dawn or has he finally figured it out?
zen
Per Lara, last yr, he was playing golf in cricket. This yr, he has made a few changes so could be relatively more successful Global.Baba
Ankit_sharma03
For some IPL international its about finding right side- maxi looks to have synched with RCB Same happened with boult who struggled with Delhi n KKR Here he doesnt have the pressure of being the lone aggressor , he knows he has a freak named ABDV in team and kohli can hold and end up which allows him to play freely Edited April 14, 2021 by Ankit_sharma03 kirkutfan and ipl is fun 1

You may have a point about finding the right team though. Funny that RCB which is the worst team for most players minus Kohli,AB and Chahal, he found RCB as his savior

ipl is fun
Also first few games at Chennai does help Maxi get acclimatized. No one is going to question if he is slow as long as he stretches his innings.
Vickydev
He has played 2 massive knocks for them already. Brought into fix their scoring rate in the middle overs, that onslaught on Nadeem was brilliant. And today he batted till the end. Like SKY he has superb wrists, so doesnt seems to mess up his timing like others. Edited April 14, 2021 by Vickydev
I6MTW
He was good at the starting of 2014 as well, then faded away towards the end. It remains to be seen if he can be consistent. nevada
SK_IH
Getting a well defined role in the set up is crucial. Looks like he is being seen as a proper batsman in the side instead of gimmicks like finisher or a six hitter. He is given the liberty to build the innings. Maxwell needs to win 4-5 games to justify his price tag & he has won one match already.

We know the couple will end up in love, but the screenplay structure requires a falsedawn before the real happy ending. nevada
He is a slacker fraud, pure and simple. Didn't give a damn as long as he could milk his reputation for easy $. Now that the heat is on, he has started to play well, so that he can earn enough goodwill to slack off once again.
Adamant
It's not him, actually it's Kohli who is responsible for his performance. According to the ICF law of "every damn thing depends on captaincy" Maxwell didn't do anything it's just Hesson and company.
