Yet commands massive salary and is a starter in every match. Agree his batting has been awful, But his team is sitting on top of the table, with 3/3 wins, so he’s contributing with his captaincy. Unpopular opinion, but so far in this tournament Kohlis captaincy has been good. Gave Sundar a shot at opening the batting, is getting optimum use out of Maxwell’s talent, is rotating his bowlers well more often than not, and is giving youngsters a chance. Heck, he’s even calling tosses correctly lmao

Unfortunately while Pooran is indeed not being utilised correctly, the fact is that he has began this tournament terribly batting wise, and with idiot Rahul taking over the gloves despite not being a regular keeper, Pooran hasn’t been able to showcase his primary skill either. Therefore, although may not be his fault, doesn’t change the fact that he hasn’t contributed anything substantial so far.
