Just stay at home and force every relative around u to stay at home n only get out if its ur living or some emergency.  

Recently my massi got covid and she didnt listen to anyone n had a habbit of goinh for a morning walk. So talk sense into ppl around you. 

 

Infact there are cases now which are happening to ppl who has not even stpped out. So be extra careful specially with neighbours n all.

 

Double mask up thats what doc are saying - take N95 mask for sure.

So, UK has just opened up vaccination for 44 years and above. They have vaccinated up to 40% with minimum one dose. 
 

My estimation is India could cover at least 40 % of population in 3 months at current run rate. That plus natural spread that has happened should effectively flatten the curve. 
 

The spread is rampant. Quite honestly I would want a quality sero survey. If we don’t have herd immunity now, then there is nothing like herd immunity.

Give mid may. I am hopeful. By then, we should have new infections drastically going below to pre covid II( pre April) level. For time being, herd immunity is nothing. We should be able to vaccinate all over fifties fom 1.3 billion population with a booster dose every year in span of 2 months else it may come back again once immunity weans off

Here is a question. For someone who had recently recovered from covid, what is lead time to get vaccinated. And does the first dose effectively work as second dose for these cases.

Me and my entire family got COVID this past month and we all recovered. Still we will follow all precautions and stay at home unless necessary.

 

For ones that already got COVID during this wave, are they immune to another infection? Especially if there is a mutation?

I am in same boat as you. One must do an anti body test. And within 4-6 weeks get vaccinated. Yedy uncle in Karnataka got re-infected within 4 months.

The vaccination was limited to over 60 and then over 45 yrs . Vaccination for over 18 will start from 1st may

The data is for "eligible population. Out of eligible population so far ( 45 plus ), only 35 % vaccinated. Dont think May 1st opening has any bearing on this data. 

 

This number should have been close to 70 %. Can also be a function of vaccine stocks. But why so low number in TN and Assam. I have no idea.

Yes .. my understanding from what you posted was the coverage is only 35% of that eligible population of 45+. Thats low overall 

 

I do see a row for India overall where the number of vaccinations done is 110 million out of the target 345million. Thats a ratio of 35%
