So sad that a genius like AB doesn’t have a single IPL trophy to his name... even Krunal Pandya has 2-3

Dream Team NBA player Karl Malone , one of the top 5 players of the game also has  0 NBA rings. All about timing, luck and team they chose. With RCB he will retire with a big zero, still be the greatest IPL player.

Mishra went for 11 in his last over with even Patidar hitting him. He would 100% have been hit for 20 in next over with them starting attacking way sooner

AB struggles against leg spin..  Stoinis is just useless with the ball.  Everytime he has been expensive in this IPl.

Malone was a jerk, used to whack opponents with his elbow. Had a daughter he refused to acknowledge as his until she was a grown up. AB is one of the nicest guys aroubd, even the opposition admires his genius.

Stoinis bowled poorly. His job was to bowl cutters with pace off. He fed AB with hittable balls instead.

Don't think stoinis  has skills remotely to bowl to AB in the 20th over.

Not discussing personalities, but similarity of their careers. Was a big fan, was rooting for Utah over Chicago when Jordan was at his peak

Quickest to 5000 IPL runs in terms of balls faced:

1) AB de Villiers - 161 innings, 3288 balls

2) David Warner - 135 innings, 3554 balls

3) Suresh Raina - 173 innings, 3620 balls

4) Rohit Sharma - 188 innings, 3817 balls

5) Virat Kohli - 157 innings, 3827 balls

6) Shikhar Dhawan - 168 innings, 3956 balls

Virat is just ahead of his buddy Dhawan. :phehe:

Raina :hatsoff:

and only 10 balls less than his other buddy tuk tuk sharma

virat played number 3 for longest time so it’s ok to a fair extent

raina stands out for sure. Never opened and always played in middle order

Also suggests that Raina is superior T20 player than Kohli Rohit..  Rohit has always been under par in IPl.

Steve Nash would also be apt IMO. Scored points for fun, made games fun to watch.

You’re blindly defending pant and that’s ok. That was poor captaincy. Most here have acknowledged that, commentators have acknowledged that

im moving on

And i said the logic why, Mishra went for runs when RCB was struggling so was removed. You cannot bowl a leg spinner in the 20th over to AB

If you have seen even a single t20 match you will know captains keep a weak bowler for 20th over and bowl their best bowlers between 15 to 19

P.S> blind hatred is way worse than blind criticism
