But then came a turn in my life where I forgot about cricket or any other activity and cornered to politics/religion only. At PP, it then ended very very badly. I used fake IDs, but as soon as they get a slightest doubt who is behind the ID, they ban me immediately. Strong political sentiments here are a recent thing since social media got stronger, when I joined the chit chat section was inactive and there were virtually no political discussions.

The general policy of mods is ban should be last resort. Yes that does lead to accusations of lowering quality of the forum. But it still ensures vareity of opinion. This forum cannot become an echo chamber i see happening on twitter or even reddit. Re pak passion Biggest issue is anybody questioning saj sadiq. If he claims he partied with cricketers and supermodels then nobody should question it. The first time i got banned from pp supposedly saj had taken got a lift to his hotel in uae by aussie cricketers. I simply said pics or it did not happen. Was banned within the hour. A week prior i had posted an article about Pakistan being a failed state. No issue then. Saj sadiq comes on test match special whenever pak are playing. The guy is nothing but ego. You would think he is a Icc hall of famer. I must be fair and say that pakpassion do have a good following of posters from india. There are some very good posters there in terms of cricketing knowledge. On the whole i feel if you ignore Saj its a pretty good place. But this whole push to be a news outlet is a bit all over the place. The ex admin i met up with is actually a very chill guy. We both know each other from Tms. Ironically we were both abusers then. I got temporary ban once for creating a thread with stats as why 'Aksar Patel is a better all rounder than Shakib' Their senior admins got so riled up that they updated their forum rules - what one can or cant post. They banned so many posters that the forum is totally dead now with no traffic at all. At max you get 1 post in a month or something. I feel sad as that place had really good buzz around 2015-2016. But due to the reckless attitude of the mods there, it has crashed to death. PP is a totally different story as it was always about their top guy. One would expect it to be pro Pakistani forum but in reality they are not. They would do anything for clicks, give posters all the leniency that brings traffic (eg: Mamoon, though I like his posts) as long as Saj is not questioned. There was a similar thread in another forum where ex-PP mods shared their experience what goes in the back-end and how much they have suffered there...LOL.
