Striking feature of SBSTC transport was that the vehicle spent more time on the sidewalk than on the actual road that too at high speed, a good test to check whether a person spent time in South Bengal is asking him/her how many near misses courtesy SBSTC. One of my pet cats was crushed under its wheels, clearly those who say cat has 9 lives have never been to the great state. Pretty sure only addicts, lunatics, Ranchi pagalkhana types were allowed to drive those buses, hope things are better now. Karnataka exploited the IT boom and the need of techies to go home every week to improve their bus service. Even the website ksrtc.in is registered for Karnataka transport

Smells great for a couple of days, as if the entire bathroom has been sprayed with perfume. And then the smell totally fades, the soap doesn't have that Mysore sandal type fragrance nor quality. bharathh Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 KSRTC is the best public bus service I have used. BMTC (the public transport in Bangalore is pretty awesome too. Their management is pretty forward thinking as well. It's a pity Covid hit - otherwise they had some ambitious plans in mind along with the BMRTC (the metro) to introduce a single card that can be recharged and used across the board for transport and provide folks with a debit card. The ticket prices are totally worth it. That said it would be good if they can stay ahead of the curve. TN's and Andhra's are the worst. It's like they want ppl to not use their service. The difference in the quality of buses is stark when you go to Koyambedu/Central/Majestic. coffee_rules and BacktoCricaddict 2
